The first re-roll of any asset is free. A generation that fails is refunded automatically. You never pay for something that did not arrive.

Why a clip costs what it does

The price is the production cost plus a fixed margin

A five-second generated clip is expensive on every provider available today. An image is not. We pass the shape of that through instead of averaging it into a subscription.

This is also why the router exists

Inside a full episode, almost all motion is a slow camera move over a still, because a generated clip costs many times what the still costs and rarely looks better. Quick Generate is the one place you can buy the expensive thing directly, because sometimes that is exactly what you need.

What people use it for

  • A single element for a thumbnail you are building yourself.
  • One missing b-roll shot in an edit you are cutting elsewhere.
  • A voice line to test how a hook sounds before committing to a script.
  • A quick look at whether a visual direction is worth pursuing.
Limits

What Quick Generate is not

  • There is no proof gate on a single asset, because there is no script to source. If you need claims checked, that is Content & Scripts or a full episode.
  • There is no Brain contract on a one-off asset either. It is generated from what you asked for, not from your channel’s measured format.
  • A five-second clip is five seconds. It is not a short film, and stitching a dozen of them together is not how a good episode is made.
  • Text inside a generated image is unreliable everywhere. If you need accurate words on screen, that is what code-rendered graphics are for, inside a project.
Assets do not disappear. Anything you generate lands in your gallery and can be pulled into a full project later, including a YouTube episode.
